The Muncie Times:
20 Years of Service to the African-American Community

February 7th-April 1st, 2011
Founded in 1991 by owner and publisher Bea Moten-Foster, The Muncie Times, has been dedicated to serving the African-American population of East Central Indiana for 20 years. Issues regularly feature African-Americans in national politics, the activities of local activists, as well as local events and recipes.

To highlight this vital resource of local African-American history and news, Archives and Special Collections will have past editions on exhibit through the months of February and March. Digital versions of the paper are available in the Digital Media Repository.

The Muncie Times exhibit will be on display in Archives and Special Collections on the second floor of Bracken Library from February to April 2011. For more information, please contact, (765) 285-5078.
