R 76 - Muncie Labor Oral History Collection, 2005-2006 - .4 cu. ft.
This collection contains 15 audio cassette tapes of interviews conducted by Vander Hill between December 2005 and February 2006. Also included are typed transcripts for each interview, as well as photographs of each interviewee taken at the time of the interview. This collection also contains 1 article taken from the Muncie Star-Press relating to Charles McKeighen, one of the interviewees.
MSS 248 - UAW 499 Records, 1950-1960, 1941-1943, 1964-1987 - 3 boxes; 1 cu. ft
The collection contains numerous labor, wage, seniority, and benefits agreements relating to Local #499 mostly from the 1950’s, and early 1960’s. Notes from meetings of Local #499 are also contained, dating from 1941 to 1943, and a few more in 1953. Calendars published by Local #499 are included. The collection also contains copies of “The Informer”, Local #499’s newsletter from 1964 to 1987. PSC 285 contains photographs, most from the 1950’s and 60’s.
MSS 249 - Charlie Anderson Papers, 1954-1971, 2006 - 1 box, 0.2 cu. ft.
This collection contains documents and correspondence relating to the Ball Brothers Corp., Anderson’s work with The Republic of Cyprus’ union leaders, his research in Denmark, and his career working for U.A.W. Locals 93 and 662. P 249 is a collection of photographs taken by Anderson. R 249 is a cassette tape interview of Anderson recorded in 2006.
MSS 175 - Muncie Symphony Orchestra Records (additions) 1950-current - 6 boxes; 4.6 cu. ft
The collection consists primarily of programs and related material (1950-current) and program records (1948-1992). It also contains publications of the Civic Music Association, an Record Book of Muncie Civic and College Symphony association (1949-1962), board meeting and minutes (1961-1970), programs, repertoires (1949-50/1981-82), programs from national, out-of-state performances, schedules (1968-86), information on a Psi Iota Xi Pops Concert, newsletters (1978-current), a 25-year brief history of the organization, and the records of the 50th Season Committee. Additionally, the collection contains brochures (1978-1980), Muncie Symphony Association materials (1949-1953), Muncie Symphony League (1953-2004), newspaper clippings (1959-1979), reports (1958-1979), rosters, correspondence, documents (1950-1953), subscription records and letters (1953-1974), and Subscription Drive materials (1962-1976). The recordings are primarily reel-to-reel tapes and the videocassettes are digital videocassettes. The photograph collection consists primarily of proof sheets.

This collection consists of affirmative action materials and reports including, the Mayors Task Force on Human Rights and commission rules and regulations.
MSS 250 - John Hardacre Collection, 1942 - 1 box, 1 cu. ft.
Hardacre’s collection includes photographs, schedules, employee bus passes, uniform patches, signs, bus employee information and Amalgamated Association materials. Also included are news clippings and a 1942 war ration book. A special item is an article and personal handwritten note from PBS’s Jim Lehrer, concerning Lehrer’s transportation collection.
OVA 50 - Heal Family Records, 1837-1924, 1 box; 0.5 cu. ft.
The collection contains primarily correspondence and legal documents related to David Heal, his roles as Justice of the Peace and notary public, and his family. Among the most important legal documents is the 1837 Land Certificate issued to Joseph Wilson, Jr., for land in Delaware County. The letter from Roy to Cousin Eugene (3/2/1924) includes information in Heal family history.

Architectural drawings for buildings erected as part of the T.W. Warner Co., later Chevrolet Motor Co., Muncie, Indiana, between 1918-1920. Building drawings include Extension to T.W. Warner Co. Machine Shop (1919), Extension to T.W. Warner Co. Plant #2 (1920), T.W. Warner Co. Machine Shop (1918), Chevrolet Motor Co. Heating Plant (1919), Chevrolet Motor Co. Chassis Small Parts Plant (1919), and Chevrolet Motor Co. Sub-station (1920).
Altrusa District 6 Records, 4.5 cu. ft. – 1917-
The collection consists of records of the Altrusa International Inc., District 6. It focuses on the records collected since 1917 of the “goings on” of Altrusa in the Eastern Midwest. The records have been divided into the following series: Board Meeting Minutes, Conferences and Workshops, Directories, Finance Records, Handbooks/Manuals/Notebooks, Reports, and Bulletins/Newsletters. Included are a Clubs series and a Disbanded Clubs series with individual clubs as subseries.
